Unable to *buy* SoA

Hello,
I live in France, which is one of the "serviced countries" mentioned in the Terms of Use.
Yet, when I go to http://sqex.to/Y7v, log in, and try to buy Seekers of Adoulin, I get the following message:

Yeah, right.
My IP address is legitimately given by a French ISP, there's nothing technically complicated here. Is there anything I could do about that ? I want to buy SoA from SE directly, if possible, before falling back to Steam or something like that.

Same problem here. I also live in France, with a french ISP and a french IP address, no proxy or whatever, and I'm getting the exact same error message as Tanid above.

To be honest, there might be a solution, but I didn't (and won't) try to delve further into this problem, because it's already annoying me. Why can't we just buy the expansion directly from within PlayOnline, why do we have to visit another website that does not work in order to buy Seekers of Adoulin?

We could buy the 3 add-ons (Cristalline Prophecy & friends) directly from POL, same thing for all 3 Abyssea expansions, it doesn't make any sense that we can't do it for Seekers of Adoulin. Why add an extra layer of "hassle" to the process ?

Anyway, fix the european square-enix store already, unless you don't want to sell your expansion...

I can't buy it either since i'm on a trip right now in the US, but my accounts are half from US and half european *4 acct*.
can't buy US download version because my billing address is EU so amazon wont allow it
can't buy EU version because i'm in the US so SE store blocks me from buying because of my IP
Its not on steam yet so that isnt an option either.

Use a fake address.

Or optionally, go to the nearest drug store and buy one of those prepaid visa cards.

Make sure you buy the version that correlates to your account though.

Just change your billing adress for this purchase to US. At least it works on Amazon.

Totally agree.... Kind of same problem here... I have an EU account and game version, two years ago I moved to Canada. Now I try to buy the EU expantion but it tells me I am in the wrong zone... NA version doesn't work/is not compatible... Square Enix why do you love to give trouble to people that are giving you money and want to buy your products? Now please give a solution unless you want to lose a customer. Thank you.
