Well this morning, couldn't log in, now I logged in and downloading the patch smoothly. Only have 2 min left on the patch to download...yeah going to log into the game and there is going to be like 50 people in all the zones lol.

All 3 comps had 3493 files as starting point for download..

Main comp is at 2874 left. And going the slowest.
Left comp is at 2464, and going the fastest for some reason considering it's the crappiest of the 3 I use.
Right comp which is a laptop is at 2707.

All 3 of my comps just did their recent thing of DC-ing from the game at 8-9pm UK time.
It's been a thing for a couple of weeks now. And annoying as hell when all 3 just pop at the same time.

Got them all back in np it would seem.
Main comp is now @ 1632
Left comp = 1523
Laptop = 1932

All have definitely speeded up the later it gets.

Been at it for 13 hours now both comps will be complete by 00:17 GMT, what i dont get is why did i download SOE 200mb file and yet still need to update. Why was the updated files not in the SOE download????

Yea thanks SE for making us feel secure about paying the money for the expansion.... Because that download that we paid for was really worth the money! Especially when people who didn't buy the expansion get the majority of the files anyway, but ya know...

Oh guys so it isn't just me. I thought my connection might have just had problems since it was never this slow. And those with connection issues (pol1601) I saw that it gets fixed if you refresh http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/index.shtml over and over again... weird... although it is still slow...

I'm chocking this shit up to coincidence... but I can't go without mentioning that this -did- work...

Getting network errors until I started clicking refresh on that and suddenly it worked. Meh... I still think its a coincidence.

grr.... clocking a decent download speed (up to 2.8Mb/s on larger files)...it's the @#$@#$ disconnects that are killing me. Gonna take about 3 hours, when it could be a matter of minutes. Glad I wasn't planning on actually playing tonight.
