I have not received my item codes either. It has happened to others unfortunately but SE is aware of it.


We are aware that a number of users have encountered the following issues related to purchases made on the Square Enix Online Store:

Receiving an SE Members code in place of a Seekers of Adoulin registration code (Digital Download)
Not receiving bonus item codes (Destrier Beret/Chocobo Shirt) when ordering FFXI: UCSE (Digital Download)
Users that pre-ordered not receiving their Musicbox Adventures download

We have corrected these issues for new orders and are now working closely with our e-commerce vendor to re-send the missing information to the affected customers as quickly as possible. We take these issues extremely seriously and we sincerely apologize for the delay in resolving these concerns.

Only real recourse apart from waiting is to call Digital River and inquire about it. Hope this is of some answer if not help.

On March 26, 2013, the FINAL FANTASY XI: Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition will go on sale and those who purchase this special edition will also receive the Chocobo Shirt in-game bonus item. Please note that registration of the Chocobo Shirt campaign code will not be available until Seekers of Adoulin becomes playable.

Other that the initial launch, they have always patched the game areas before hand, then opened them up later, at the same time for everyone. So this is no surprise to me, hehe I just thought that they did the patch early this morning so it would be available in the afternoon. :x

It seems that the problem is not an isolated one. My Chocobo shirt code comes up as being invalid as well. Could a GM post to clear this up? Is it a wide spread problem for all players or just a select few?

Edit: I should also add that I bought my copy from the official Square-Enix site, which uses the digital river download.

(-.-) I was told by Digital river i would get a MLP code by the 3 of April... After a few minutes of saying no that is not the code I am looking for, and being put on hold. I was told the same thing i will get a separate email. Thank you and have a good day... The did not sound like they had any idea of what i was talking about. (lol i was also told my serial number gave me the items at first.)

Not yet... I am sure once the content goes live SE will tell us.

I'm just speculating but... in past expansions, there was a feeling of discontent when an expansion was released and most of the players couldn't access the servers due to heavy traffic. This lead to a small group of players getting to the expansion areas 1st (exploring them and amassing items/info before anyone could). They then used it to their advantage by getting to the "good areas" and camping them well. This left a sour taste in many player's mouths (if I remember correctly).

I am betting SE is waiting to release the content only when the server traffic stabilizes again. This way, everyone is patched and ready to go. Everyone would have an equal opportunity to explore the new areas at the same time.

I'm missing my code for my chocobo shirt as well. Unless the Member Loyalty Points code is supposed to be it? It's only a four-sectioned code, not five like it asks for in the Square Enix Account Management System. Is there supposed to be another place we're supposed to enter that code? The instructions and url link for it are unhelpful.
