Hello SE,
Several topics have been started asking what is to be done about the weaker relic weapons and weaponskills. We, respectfully, would like a response.
Thank you for your consideration,
Sincerely,
A humble FFXI player.

Aftermath too, god don't forget about the aftermath. Ragnarok and Mandau have good aftermaths but the ones that add Shock Spikes or give Regen are too novel to be used. Increase aftermath to at least 30 seconds at 100% and change/buff them up. What's the point of Gungnir's 20 second Shock Spikes aftermath when the Shock Spikes it grants are so weak?

Bravura needs some serious adjusting aswell, it really is to far behind 99 Ukon.

Your request might have a greater chance to be fulfilled if you directly ask the questions you want answers for, or at least provide links to the posts you're referring to. Your chances of getting a community rep to respond are very low to begin with, but asking them to comb through hundreds of threads to find any questions regarding relics... There is about as much chance of that happening as my left eye leaping out of my head and transforming into a periwinkle donkey being ridden by a chocolate bunny wielding the "legendary" sword Excalipoor.
Good luck in your attempt though, relic weapons are a topic near and dear to me~

And this is why we can't have nice things, people making statements like this.
Bravura comes with a -20% DT effect on a STR based WS that doesn't suck. It doesn't have to do more damage then a 99 Ukon as it lets you live longer and receive less damage.

I agree with your overall sentiments here. Bravura might not be the highest DPS great axe there is, but it has other aspects which make it appealing, such as it's DT aftermath, evasion down add effect, and defense down add effect. These things make it more appealing as a hybrid weapon, and for use with larger groups. If it could do as much damage as Ukon, why would anyone choose Ukon instead?
