New player hoping to find some help and friends!

Hello! I've only been playing the game for a little while now and i've been soloing the entire time because i can't find anyone my level or someone helpful. I'm a level 18 MNK(my character name is the same as my forum name) and i'd appreciate any friends or anyone willing to help me with the subjob quest.

If you don't mind being in an EST/CST shell, bug the crap out of Arisama for a linkpearl and say Anon sent you. If I'm not available to help this evening some other person will most definitely be willing to lend a hand, and if you find your scheduling to differ from ours don't hesitate to ask for help, I like to hit things with my hammer. :3

Me and 2 other players are looking for a new shell. We are training a new person to the game so we will probably be doing lower level stuff, ranking up, ect ect. Does anyones shell do these things still?
