Is there going to be a new Looking for Party System with SoA. I know they are going to update yells and such, was wondering if this was soemthing they are looking at adding someday.
I know its so hard for people to use the current system because the moment you log out or lose connection, you lose your looking for party message.
I would like to see a system where you can set a message that wont be erased when you log out or diconnect and maybe a feature that has every single mission you need a party on that people can search.
At the moment I think LFP is pretty much dead for everything, people gave up on the current system.

LFP is no longer needed, if you need one you shout, or just go to where everyone is, the worm or frog camp, the doll or buffalo camp, the bird or bugard camp, at least that's where the action is in Bahamut. People wait in line with their flags up. Or usually your LS members will advertise an open slot in the alliance party. SoA is intended as endgame content expansion, so not sure what are we suppose to do with the mobs outside. Farm them? Kill them for quests? Kill them for points? Rather useless if people still go back to Abyssea to level up these 2 new jobs anyway :)

I think what she meant is LFP for things other than exp parties. I too have been bothered with having to sit in jeuno to see an interesting shout when I could've gone to skill up or something while keeping my LFP flag up for say, a battlefield or mission. Sure, there are the font colors for the type of LFP comment you write, but nobody of those who shout for missions or other things will do a search for LFPing people and bother check their search messages. LFP searching is barely only used by exp alliances leaders nowadays and I agree it needs a revamp.
A good example would be to add a feature to the "quests" and "missions" section of the menu, whereas you could select one (or more) and "sign up" in some sort of "notice-board" all players could search for (think of the Wanted section on FFXIAH for example. you search for an item and it displays the # of players who wish that item and their name).
so maybe a /signup command would be cool, one could select a mission, quest, battlefield of any kind and then go do their own stuff. People interested in say, "Under Observation" could just open the "notice-board" menu, go to the "BCNM" section (much like search can filter you to see only those with the 'battlefield' type of search-command) and you could get a list of the players who signed up for it.
If there was such a system, it would also be great to be able to sign up for multiple things at the same time, and give the player the option for the 'sign-up' status to wear off automatically when you join a party, log out, or manually.
I hope the description of my idea was clear enough. It's been bugging me for a while and I just needed the excuse to pull it up. Thanks OP!
