My mail in playonline will not let me read it at all! keeps saying i have the wrong password even though ive tried changing every password still nothing :/

Keep in mind that your mail password is independent of both your PlayOnline and Square-Enix passwords.

Please follow these steps to change a PlayOnline Mail password

1. Log into the Square Enix Account Management System (https://secure.square-enix.com/account/)
2. Select “Select Service” under “Services and Options” from the left hand menu.
3. Select “PlayOnline / FINAL FANTASY XI.”
4. Select “Options List” for the appropriate service account.
5. Locate the “PlayOnline ID Options” column and select the “Update” button located next to “Update PlayOnline Mail Password”

While we do apologize that the system is giving you some difficulty, unfortunately this forum is not the proper avenue for discussion of such issues. As we have stated in the past, this forum is for the discussion of technical issues with FINAL FANTASY XI itself, and not anything related to the account management system. For further assistance, you’ll need to contact the SQUARE ENIX Support Center for further assistance. Since this is not a technical issue with FINAL FANTASY XI, we have closed this thread.
