Looks real to me. Maybe it was part of a semipublic betatest that took place in JP? Mocchi is a JP community rep.

This morning SE was playing Live on that youtube channel they have instead of it facing the auction house or the title screen for days on end they were in the new expansion playing, sucks I had to go to work...
loledit - - - Its now Facing the Auction House again so much fail... why waste the resources seriously :mad:

Every so often programming aimed at JP players airs on there. A few weeks back I noticed some Vana'fest gameplay footage being re-aired, in Japanese.
I'm sure there's a published schedule of such things somewhere, but I don't know Japanese.

Agreed. And not just the animation, but the aura effects were bothering me. I liked the luminescent look of the spheres from the SoA site pictures, but the noxious fumes in the video makes them look like the GEO has a flatulence problem. I hope it's just the video quality.

I can't tell for sure since the Geomushroom only changed equipment a few times, but it looks an awful lot like the aura animations reset every time visible equipment is changed.
One day, I may be responsible for somebody's seizure just by casting Fire IV on something and changing back into my idle set. Hopefully, I will be in a pick-up Voidwatch group that particular day. I can't think of a punchline here other than reaffirming that I am a horrible person.

That "camera facing the auction house" is the live vanadiel cam. Most likely, they were showing it on that.

Looks interesting, Rune Fencer gets Resolution too :o
I went through the other 5 videos he posted about Adoulin, most of it was standing around BUT when I got to video 5, near the end I noticed something that will contribute to RDM's death.
One of the party members had a 2mp/tick refresh from gear, but right after the Geomancer used AoE refresh, it went up to 7mp/tick, meaning Geo can get at least an AoE 5mp~/tick refresh.

this is footage from the streaming from today ( thanks to upbeat) and from the looks of it rune fencer is going to be badass , i mean Effusion: Lunge doing 2600+ damage , and 3 runes of the same type going for 50+ enspell damage seems awesome

The YouTube Live Vana'dial video playing in small window at the upper right-side inside a border box while looking at your screen of the USA www.playonline.com website does not have a volume adjustment feature's anymore as it will just play silently but here is the thing after jumping in my game of ffxi or doing something else with looking at web pages of my chrome tabs up after a time even with it in the background the sound will jump in and just blast my apartment or blast my ears off if i have my head phones on.
I have checked on all other stuff it could be but I keep coming back to the fact it has to be the websites defaults with no volume adjustments to adjust it anymore?:confused:
While i'm at it why isn't there a volume adjustment options yet to our in game play-online viewer first log-in screen to log onto the pol viewer screen but once your past it and logged onto the viewer then the volume adjustments exist for that section of the viewer and further options for volume adjustments upon getting logged into ffxi:confused:??
