i played ffxi when it first come out for ps2 and recently got back into it seeing as new dlc was coming out but starting off im a lil dishearten being as it seems so empty now but i would really like to get back into the story and enjoying this game like i used to

Jinx you might need to level up some, most are in jueno now. Gusgen when u hit level 12 and that will take you to 33 in a thing called grounds of valor, then head over to Crawlers nest until like 57 or so.
If you are looking for a linkshell check out rangarok.
Check out Grommets LS, I would highly suggest it if you are starting over or looking to get back into the swing of things. I know how hard it is without a LS or a good group to get things done ingame.
