Help needed!

Hello there,

My name is galeparadox and im new to FFXI. Im in a bit of a pickle, you see, Ive played FFXIV and getting around was easy for me. Everything was lined out and I knew where to go. I just started playing FFXI this morning and I have no clue on where to go and what to do. Ive looked for walkthroughs online and I have only found job guides :( Im running around brainless and I need help getting started. Please help!
