They can't, or at least won't touch that with a 10-fulm pole.
Thanks to that drama-filled period where Click and Buy was a requirement for automatic credit card use, many players already have a C&B account and are still there thanks to inertia. Dropping C&B now would mean another mandatory payment system change for those players, which means opening that particular can of worms up all over again.
Besides, I'm sure there's a contract somewhere between S-E and C&B.
It's generally better to add options than remove them. If S-E is going to trim things in account management to make it more streamlined and user-friendly, there are plenty of other places to start.

fine but I can still be mad about it, I just wish they did their own transactions, but I understand that they just don't want any blame put on them like sony X.X and I understand too that that would require everyone changing payment systems but C&B sucks.

I just wish they did their own transactions,
They do; that's how the drama ended.

right lol that is kinda how I buy crysta, just only problem is if C&B messes something up then usually for the poor soul after SE kinda blocks their other accounts, prolly part of that contract you were talking about, but ty for that info I hadn't realized that crysta came out after C&B

You don't have to use it.
Just don't use it, and you won't have any problems with it?
Crysta, and click and buy were available at the same time.
Credit card payments not using these systems came out later. Just use that.
in a rare moment of agreement, Ziyyigo-Tipyigo is right- there's no reason to remove options when you can just add more.
