We need more housing!!!

One thing I wish we could have in final fantasy is more then just one room....

Every game out right now has huge amounts of house options and yes, more then just ONE room.

Even Lotro gets more then one room, which is pretty limited in what and where you can place things.

Everquest 2 gets Houses the size of a kingdom. More options then a mad hatter in a hat shop.

Besides comparing other games, why havent we seen more then one room with the years of growing amount of furnishings we have.

I wouldnt be surprised if there is a tarutaru out there with one character dedicated to just holding the amount of furnishings they have.

Perhaps one other room at least, where there isn't a fairly large square in the middle that's un-useable due to there being a carpet, Moogle, etc etc. Tne room we have now could be a foyer of some kind, with the Moogle more off to the side or a corner, where he/she could have his own little place instead of smack dab in the center of what is supposedly your space =)

Based on the info posted by FusionX developer interview the next expansion will be giving everyone their own island. If this includes more storage mog warehouse or a fat chocobo I don't know. Anyway, a representative also stated on this forum something about all our inventory woes being alleviated. I forget where these links are in the forums but wanted to share this knowledge with you.

This will never happen due to the limitations on the mog house system and how tightly integrated into the game it is because it was one of the game's original features- at least, that's what a rep will tell you (it's what the'yve told us multiple times in regards to asking for mog house improvements).

The good news is we're getting some sort of private island thing in SoA. I guess it won't really be customizable the way a MH is, and the city will have a MH as well, but it's a start.

You want a link go find it. I'm just relaying what I read off an interview link. Either you can take it for face value, research it yourself or act like it never happened. I don't keep links of everything I read and the search engines for this forum/google don't help much. You could always ask FusionX about it he's the one who did the interviews with the davs back at the Japanese vanafest.

I normally don't provide links because people don't like post. People just want stuff handing to them on a silver platter. It's just a waste of time providing evidence for thankless readers who are to lazy to look stuff up themselves to verify things. SE- As there will be rental houses for players within the town of Adoulin, the islands will not be too similar to Mog Houses. Imagine the island as a specialized area for procuring materials. From a system perspective it is difficult to invite other players to your island, but that’s not to say that we have completely given up on it. Since you won’t be able to alter the layout of this area like you can inside of a Mog House, it won’t really be possible to decorate it. However, there will be visual variations that can be made, such as farmland expansions, in order to increase the amount of materials that you can procure.
