I know, it's not the thing that rangers need the most, but just a fun idea I've always thought this job should have. The ability to place traps in the ground(kinda like rangers in FFTA2, just to use an example). It wouldn't even be something new to this game as there are goblins that dig mines all the time! And it could also be used the concept of rear traps that are in abyssea, or something like that. There could be more types, like binding trap, terror trap, simple damage trap, etc...
Well, just a fun idea I had in mind, hope you like it, if not peace! v

donno there was a hunter in wow that was like a beastmaser / ranger hybird and they had traps.

i think it would be better suited for beastmater.

btw i got to post before that one reference hehe>.>

Yeah... this suggestion makes me think of WoW lol. If a class was going to have trap it would probably be better suited for BST than RNG.

We have a trap. It's called Shadowbind.

It's only trap if it also puts a costume on you.

I don't think it sounds that bad, at least it'll give us something to do while pulling >.>

I can see it now, drop a blind / para trap , throw your stick at the crawler, then run away back to camp, and hope pathing doesn't make it run around the trap =.=

A ranger pulling a crawler back to camp? What is this 2004?

I'm going to make a PSU reference RUN AWAY!!

In Phantasy Star Online/Universe all Gunning type jobs were able to use traps, they had different ones and some gun types were only limited to some traps.

So i guess i can say Traps would be good for RNG

Uh, you guys know what "trap" means right?

Seriously this is almost (but not quite) as bad as people calling pimped out low level characters "twinks".
