I know SMN is more of a support job in how SE wanted them, but they can also do very well on their own. Perhaps, have another kind of blood pact that buffs only the avatar? It's only an idea though since most other ideas are getting shot down.

Also, would it be overpowering if we had a spirit out at the same time as an avatar? They're pretty bad anyways. Probably hard to accomplish but could be a futuristic plan for SMN? Make those elementals, other than light, used for something other than elemental siphon.

Anyone else have any ideas? I'm just bored and waiting for VW to start on SMN so sorry if this seems like pointless notions.

More blood pacts? All still tied to the horrible recast timers, right? Summoners would still be bound to do what is most efficient and effective within the constraints of their Blood Pact timers. Which basically means any new BP's would probably not get used. If they were to implement new Blood Pacts, and didn't want to reduce the cap on Blood Pact timers, the least they could do is create a third Blood Pact category that has its own set of timers. A fitting name might be: "Blood Pact: Avatar"

I, too have thought of the ability to have a spirit out at the same time as an avatar. There is nothing overpowering about a spirit in any situation where it might actually matter. They will probably quote "PS2 limitations" or some such drivel in regards to why they can't implement that.

Elemental Spirits are basically a fast-casting distraction when you're trying to run away, and a 5-minute mp-battery. It's also intensely disappointing they are nowhere near as strong as their wild counterparts.

What summoner needs are buffs that buff our buffs. That is the solution!
