Scavenge?

I've noticed that over the past while, Scavenge either hasnt been worked into new areas, or it's broken.

I'm not sure if it only works in certain areas or if I just have bad luck, but I'd like to see the Dev teams response on whether or not this ability has even been coded to work in abyssea, WoTG zones, etc. I honestly cant remember the last time I scavenged and found anything.

I thought about it, but I figured this would be seen more than putting it in RNG board and only people who play RNG seeing it. Plus i dont need other RNG's to tell me it dosent work, I've been RNG main since 2004.

Honestly, i'm not sure where the above information is relevant, but my concern was, the job ability Scavenge seeming like it hasnt had an update in a long time. I looked on wiki after posting my initial post, and saw that scavenge does, infact produce results in WoTG areas, so scratch that, but at level 75+ using is not beneficial to the ranger.

Sure you could find the occasional arrowwood lumber or other miniscule tossable, but it dosent work in abyssea that i've ever seen, and I was more asking more on the lines if there were any plans to update scavenge results to bring forth items that would actually be used by the currant standard ranger, such as, "Swiftshot Tonics" and other abyssea temp items, Kabura, Marid, Darkling, Antlion Ruszor, etc quivers or materials used in the arrow-making process.

The other issue (I feel) is process rate. With it being a 5 minute ability and per wiki a 2% process rate, for an item that if obtained would only be usable if you did a low level cap BCNM, or level sync group, and even then it would be less of a headache to just buy.

In a nutshell, With scavenge being such a low process rate, and a 5 minute ability with no incentive to merit scavenge recast time, Would it be feesable to re-evaluate the process rate and/or possible rewards for getting the process to give you an item?
