Not sure about you guys but over the years I have met many players from ff11 from many other games and it always end the same way WE ARE NOT ON SAME SERVER. after hrs, months, or years talking about it and none us, will either get the riches guy or gal to pay for are transfer, or just like most people I met over the last 8 yrs + on other games pc or consoles. be like ill never play ff11 again

Then it talk fest nothing fn get done and turns, then into, ill come back, I want my toon or character yet it comes down to why pay that amount for a server transfer highway robbery 5 bucks understand and that get blown out the water, most the time like should be free no matter what, when we can just go to a free to play game and we can enjoy those other games together, and lets all have some fun for this game again.

If your content id you got for ff11 for each year get one server transfer per year.

Yea i understand some people are like just create a one dollar character newbie character, go that way but when you put so much time and effort into the game you want your friends to see your real stuff. If they want to see a lvl 1 char we just all go to a free to play mmo.

I don't understand most of what you just said, but free transfers would just make RMT easier; even if limited to one per year. If you desperately want to go play with friends, £14 isn't much to ask for a transfer, and is cheaper than a few other MMOs that offer the same service.

I got a group of about 100 people that want to play the game again, but all are characters are all over the place and no one want to pay the transfer fees, also the rmt are all but dead in the game. and even if we got one free server transfer would not do anything, what square can do is only allow people that had there content id activated at one point from 2001-2011 those people each year would get only one server transfer a year. They banned most the rmt content id anyways so there one server transfer does nothing if there content id was banned.

RMT really isn't dead in this game. It used to be like a year ago but seems they're back now and more than ever in a sense crowding dyna and making FC parties. Like Dazusu said, £14 for a server transfer isn't bad at all, and worth it if you really wanted to play with friends.

Nope, you shouldn't.

The whole reason there's a fee at all beyond profit is they don't want people doing transfers unlreass they are really sure they really want to. It's a deterrent to transferring to exploit different economic conditions on different servers as well. RMT is just one small reason out of many to limit server transfers.

Your idea would also mean once a year Mr LS leader or person holding LS bank would take the gil/items and run to another server.

Hey, I've got a great idea. I'm going to walk into walmart and ask them if they can give me one free Nintendo 3DS game (comprarble price to a server transfer) per year. Watch them laugh in my face.

Just because you can't afford something, doesn't mean a company should go all charity on you and give you a free something.
