Hello this is my first post in any forum on anything so bear with me please.
I would like to see added 3 rings for each craft that all use charges like the current fishing rings from pirate chart quest also make the fishing rings recharge with guild points too please.
1. Increased HQ rate.
2. Increased success rate.
3. Increased skill up rate.
Also two key items added to guild point vendors.
1. Fishing expertise = Increased chance at not losing a bait when you catch a fish.
2. Crystal expertise = Increased chance at not losing a crystal with a synthesis.
Also crafting slips added to the list of current slips that let you hold up to 200 items from the list of ah materials relevant to that craft.
Each character should be limited to 2 slips one for fishing one for another craft that must be level 80+.
Magian trials for crafting armour that can have the stats from the rings i suggested inscribed on them could be turn in x amount of signed items to complete the trials.
This could also be taken through to synergy too such as increased HQ rate with synergy.
Ebisu and Lu shangs rod trials please. after eventually getting my ebisu rod it would be nice not have line breaks.The trials could have the following stat boosts added to the rods lower the chance of line breaks,increased stamina depletion or increase the amount of time fish can be held before you lose them.
If anyone would like to add what they would like to see with the crafting system or add any ideas to further the ones i have just posted please do. :)
Also credit for some of these ideas goes to maz on leviathan server a fellow crafter who i have discussions with as to what he would like to see added.

Dear S-E: Please remove any difficulty from crafting and make it easy to -1/+1 everything so I can has all whiteboxes for cheaps. Thanks! Also, I didn't know about Shaper's Shawls to up my skillup rate cause I haven't gotten past fishing up moat carps and trying to desynth leather belts.

Dear S-E: After the fish eats the bait, can I catch them and make them spit it back out? I don't get nearly enough dwarf pugils while botting. Also, I'd like my fire crystals to not to get used up when I burn them.

Dear S-E: After fishbotting to 110 skill, I can't get the bot to catch them 100% when I wants lots of liks and haks. Easymode plz, since any trial would take fishing what I want to fish anyway or fish I can then sell to other people for their trials for more gilz.
If anyone would like to add what they would like to see with the crafting system or add any ideas to further the ones i have just posted please do. :)
Stop trying to make the system easier in terms of "I want easier +1's/skillups/endgame crafting". You want to improve crafting? More "upgrades" for mob-dropped items. Combat Mittens, arguably a gimme for anyone in the level range if we actually saw people playing through 30-50 or so on a lot of jobs is a good example of what to do right.
I'd love to see some random stuff in the L80-99 range that are actually multi-step crafting endbits. Take those Zealot's Mitts, craft them into Devotee's Mitts. then craft with a cruddy mob-dropped item nobody uses right now to make a pair of L60ish hands comparable to AF-ish stuff, then combine them with another item to make Saint's Gloves for L80ish/AF2+ hands, and finally some horrid nearly useless L99 piece of gear to make God Hands (AF3ish) or somesuch. And +1's all the way down the line, too- which would be fiendishly difficult to craft considering Devotee's alone are already an L84 Clothcraft. and hence tier-1 HQ at best.
In other words, give us a "crafter's path" for high-end gear that goes from the beginning to the end of the game. Heck, if you REALLY want to have fun, give it multiple paths. Maybe if I combine Zealot's Mitts with White Mitts I get a +MND/-INT/+MP path, but if I use Seer's Mitts they become a weaker +MND/+INT/+MP that's Red Mage/Scholar friendly.
Heck, it'd make tons of utterly useless items have new life as crafting materials.

Now as regards to the rings i suggested i don't believe i said make it easy to +1/-1 anything i simply stated what i as a crafter would like to see added.Also i did not give a % rate for the rings i don't see how a 1% inc for example would make it gamebreaking to the point of every synth +1/-1.
The reason this was suggested was also to give crafters a continual use to do gp after they have all items not just for the buff effects from the ring.
Now in regards to the ki i suggested again i did not say make it a high % either same rules apply say 1% still makes it a nice little bonus not to lose a bait when catching a fish or lose a crystal when performing a synth.
Now the crafting slips as i have access to every craft at least 90+ except smithing through various mules and i dont think i am the only person who has this i think this would benefit alot of people.
Now the magian trials again i never said make them easy to do for a permanent buff i suggested the trials themselves but if people are going to put work into a trial its only fair they get a permanent buff from it the same as existing magian trials are permanent.
Now the fishbotting. Please don't assume because some people in the game sit in glacier fishbotting all day and night that everyone does it.
Now your idea of multi step crafting i do like it could be even taken to synergy by adding both zealots and devotees to the furnace to make the saints. Alot of low level gear and weapons have next to no use anymore because of abyssea which i don't see changing so yes it would be nice to see them have a new lease of life added to new synths. It would also give people a reason to camp low level nms and such that are not camped anymore and let people see vanadiel not just abyssea lol.
If anyone would like to add further please feel free but please don't just bad mouth any ideas in this thread please offer alternatives or your reasons as to why you think a idea would not work. And also please don't make wild accusations at people accusing them of using 3rd party programmes this is a crafters thread not a mudslinging contest thank you.

Most of the time, I see this kind of suggestion coming from non-crafters. I've done the 90+ road on other characters (ToAU era), so I see where you're coming from. A -very small- bonus would likely be an irresistable lure to burn CP left and right, I agree. That's not bad.

Again, that's not insanity- but I'd rather not see it happen with crystals. That's one of those foundation-of-economy items, and the more of them getting consumed the better IMHO. Helps keep money flowing downhill as well as up.

Yep, I was good with this one. Storage options for GP gear would be ideal, and possibly a few other items as well along those lines, like Ebisu/Lu Shang's. I wouldn't mind seeing high level crafters being able to pay CP for a "Guild Locker" that would hold relevant items for them- which would also give us a good CP sink.

This is where things get dodgy to me, though. Bonuses stack. Even 2% is actually a significant change from current HQ rates where the HQ's truly matter- that is, Tier 0 or Tier 1's. Heck, 1% is- but at least they have to keep shoveling CP in to use the buff.

No, not everyone does- but you have to take into account that whatever buff you give to normal fishers, also applies to the fishbotter. And there are a LOT of them these days.

Bingo. I didn't suggest synergy because right now...it's really, REALLY stupid easy to level, which would make creating these items relatively trivial as there's no chance of item loss.
Say we have ten Devotee's +1 made. Even if the HQ rate is 10%, it means a Saint's +1 would take ten of those +1's, and a God Hand +1 would take even more Saint's +1 as the odds for HQ would almost certainly be T0 for the Saint's +1...and the God Hand +1 would definitely be so, since Devotee's is a 94 CC skill to make. And of course, that means someone had to get about -100- Zealot's Mitts just to get the ten Devotee's +1'd!
If items are getting chewed up like that, it'd bring people back to NM hunting in droves in nearly every area in the game, especially if you took basically useless gear (by itself) and put them into the chains for a crafted endgame item (and steps along the line). Think about how many paths trial gear takes. Similar levels of complexity are doable with this.

Dude what is your problem! I too would like to get skillups over 5% of the time I synth an item with cap 7 levels above my skill. When I use a stacks of dark crystals, 12 coeurl hides, 12 win. tea leaves, 12 distilled water and end with 9 coeurl leather and no skill up I feel cheated.
