Maybe this was already mentioned or maybe it belongs somewhere else, but since most people don't really do these anymore except the few that might want Captain rank or might want some weapons from Nyzul, then I was wondering if SE can reduce the amount of players needed to enter Nyzul/Assault areas from 3 minimum to 1 minimum.

This can be done once we're able to hit lvl 95 or 99 because at these lvls those areas would be a lot easier to solo (Except maybe the lamps in Nyzul) but I would love to farm myself the rest of the job weapons from Nyzul rather than letting my 5 tags sit around and not needing to gather 3 or more people to do it either.

I also know a lot of people who wanted to enter the other assault areas with one other person to either solo or duo to help those people out to gain their ranks up to Captain rank for free travel around Aht Urghan or to get that Captain rank atma.

Agreed. Minimum party limit is unnecessary and just limits the attractiveness of these events.

More chance I would think of them leaving it as is until they "fix" it like they are going to do with Dyna.

I agree drop party requirements to soloable. I shout for hours for 3 people until i just give up.

Since they're fixing Dynamis I can seem them hopefully fixing Salvage, Einherjar, and all those old end game events since those places are no longer end game anymore with Abyssea being replaced as the new End Game content.

I totally support this, being able to solo/duo Nyzul is something that would keep me going at it.

Dont the lamps change? If you have 6 members theres possible of 6 lamps, if you have 3 only spawns 3, so if you solo it'd just follow that and 1 lamp be up.

I agree with this, but want to add. You should also be able to enter Salvage solo without bothering 2 friends to come DC for you.

Welcome to the group-oriented game known as Final Fantasy XI. For me, I convinced a few of my LS friends to become Captains and have the Runic Key just to say we had something fun to do. The end result was unlocking achievements for Mythic weapons, but so far none of us has even tried doing that.

Yes, Salvage should be reduced as well if you're able to solo that. I haven't done Salvage in so long since it was 75 cap, so I don't know how easy it is nowadays.

As for the lamps, I think the least amount of lights is 3 and it goes 3-6, but I suppose that's because the minimum to enter is 3 people. Maybe if only one person enters then there might only be one light? Even if it's a specific order for two lights, then that person soloing can run from the first light and hit that then run to the second light and hit that. For hitting the lights at the same time though there would have to be only one light if you're going in solo otherwise you would be stuck on that floor forever unless the lights are all close to one another.

Yes, but there will always be that option/choice to do those things in a group. I'm not telling SE to make it solo only. If they change it to a minimum of 1 person then you can still feel free to bring in a full 6 member pty to breeze through it faster. I'm just thinking in realistic terms to those wanting to achieve certain goals ingame. If there is more flexibility to soloable choices or group choices then it should be done and where they tweak down in group content with the older content then they can add group content with the new content.

In realistic terms not many want to do some of the older content stuff so it'll just save time to those who still want to get some of the old stuff done. Even if you find a friend or a third friend to join you that is still part of the whole co-operative play that FFXI is all about.

I wouldn't mind so much if it weren't tied to Assault tags, as it stands a lot of people have floor 100 and few people want to help people get up.

I would love to do assault but noone ever does it. This is a good idea. I want the captain rank atma.

It's all about making friends which has to do with playing an MMO I think. Seriously, getting 2 people even not friends, is not out of reach. Just /shout. I would rather have them fix the tag/permit system to make it like traversers stones.

They would have to either remove lamp floors or change them to where they are a puzzle that one person can solve. The current 3 person limit is rather arbitrary considering the only thing that isn't soloable about the lower floors of nyzul is lamps.

Statics is the way us play the game and is indeed a waste of effort
. I wonder why you would want a static for this . It would most likely fail at one point considering that you probably dont all start from scratch . Take a breath and shout in jeuno for one or two assaults, grab 2 ppls and enter. Its not hard just requires you to do shouts from time to time when you are free to do it and when you feel like it ( which is the complete opposite of a static ).

Yes please to removal of minimum party size. Yes please to more assault tags. I haven't gotten to more than like Nyzul 20 and it's going to take forever to find people to do the remaining floors with me. Not to mention the wait between doing them.

Its not hard just requires you to do shouts from time to time when you are free to do it and when you feel like it ( which is the complete opposite of a static ).

Getting parties for Nyzul via shout before the level cap increase was a pain in the ass as it was, even getting one person was like pulling teeth. I cannot imagine what it's like now.

Either this or remove the tag requirement for Nyzul. If Nyzul could be blasted through in a day or two I'm sure you'd see a lot more shouts.

I love nyzul as an event, and I'm sure there will be some objections to this. I'd like to see floors 100-200 added, with improved objectives, more difficult enemies, and better rewards.

As it stands nobody does nyzul, and those wishing to level a DD job will often find themselves less able because of the lack of Nyzul weaponskills.

Eh, statics aren't always bad. My Nyzul static went to 100 without much issue, but it was likely because we all had similar schedules.

Never had a static work tried several times someone always never shows up end up waisting a lot of time waiting :/ I would love to see Nyzul be soloable maybe then I could go from 5-100 been stuck at 5 forever lol and only done 2 Assaults
