Are there any plans announced to expand the existing weapon skill and/or elemental weapons from ToM? More specifically, I think I remember a community rep asking how we felt about a trial staff that combined all the elements into one. It was back around when they announed the Iridal/Chatoyant staff if I recall correctly.

Have there been any announcements I missed regarding any of this?

No annoucements Ive heard either. I really hope they dont do anything rediculous tho, (ie 1500 hmp, 3000 riftcinders)

The best thing they could do for ToM is change the look of elemental weapons to make them a little more unique, the daggers and staffs are particularly ugly

I'm actually more interested in seeing the "lifestyle skills" Trials listed above come around than just more Weapons Trials. All things considered, the Weapons Trials feel pretty darn complete.

I cannot read Japanese. Would you mind translating that for me? ^^

The first arrow is "Weapons Boost". An emphatic check and a huge success, IMO. They already feel quite complete.

The second is "Armor Boost". Check. We have them, though they're much less in-depth than the Weapons Trials.

The third is "Lifestyle Skills Boost"; the context at the time was adding stats like Movement Speed and Crafting Skills to equipment. Still waiting on this.

The fourth arrow is "Adventurer Skills Boost"; in context it's essentially the "Merits 2.0" system that we're waiting for.

The fifth arrow is "The third set of Ultimate Weapons [what we now know as Empyrean Weapons, but they compared them to Relics] Boost." Check again.

----

The image literally dates itself back to almost three years ago, and we're still missing those third and fourth arrows that they've enumerated. I'd rather see where they're going with those before requesting anything else.

Oh, that's interesting!

I still wonder about the alleged staff trials to combine them all into one staff. I'm not sure how they would do that, though. Meld all the staves of each element into their own staff? (For instance, Arka I, II, III, and IV into a staff called "Arka" ?) Or combine a single staff for each attribute? (All elements affinity Magic Acc+1, Magic Atk+6, Casting time -14%?)

I've done some of the staff trials in preperation for this (Light Matk staff...), I'm just anxious to know whether or not this idea will ever come to fruition.

I wonder what else they could implement into Lifestyle skill boosts. Higher fame for lower shop prices? Enchantment teleports that start at 24 hrs and can be trialed down to 12hrs or less? Adventuring Fellow buffs? I'm intrigued to know now!

The one time they've ever mentioned combining staves, it resulted in the Iridial and Chatoyant staves; there was much rejoicing.

Honestly, all the demand for "give us Magian Trials to combine our Obis/Magian Staves/Planeteer Rings" is getting quite trite at this point, especially since our precedent for "your powers combined" was via Synergy.

I'm a Planeteer.

You can be one, too!

My point is, they asked us about magian trials to combine said staves when they announced the Iridal/Chatoyant Lv51 crafted staves. I'm merely interested to know two things: A) will that idea come to fruition or not? and B) Are there any plans for future trials, whether it be new trials or continuations of existing ones?

It's good to know that some players are not interested - and even further good to know that you are easily irritated by reading inquiries of other players' interests that don't match yours! ^^

Mind quoting and linking back to when this was said, to prove your point?

Why so passive-aggressive? Looting and polluting is not the way!

That only took me about a month, right?

I guess they didn't inquire, but asked for us to ask for one in a separate thread.

And as such, someone did!

I'm afraid to Necro-bump... but I kinda want to. :3
