FINAL FANTASY XI: Seekers of Adoulin n' Stuff

Hello Everyone!

I'm Haste in Time, you can call me HiT for short. I'm working in a FF11 guide for newcomers and older players alike, but that will be for another topic in the New Player's area.

-FINAL FANTASY XI: Seekers of Adoulin n' Stuff-

:confused: There is a 360 copy planned for FFXI SoA it looks like, however I am unsure as there isn't really any new information about a pre-order and the game is no longer available "new" on console.

;) Although I'd love this on the 360, I'd keep playing this until FFXIV: ARR came out anyway I can.

:D I'm also going to mention that I'm a cross-platform player. I can solo any game. I like my 360 controller best and I play the game on whatever fits my fancy the most.

:) Currently I'm on FFXI on PC in frustration I can't even bother to explain anymore. The setup is just awful and not all too helpful. Aside that FFXI is an excellent MORPG, and would you believe that an anime name Sword Art Online made me appreciate MO's a bit more than I thought that I ever would have in my life? Maybe not but that is the truth.

:o That and I always wanted to give FF11 a fair try anyway. Not all MO players treated your average player back in the day with respect here in the good old US, in fact MO's are usually the source of "casual" play just look at Warcraft Online or WO. lol.

:cool: On PC I come from games like Command and Conquer, Diablo, and Populous The Beginning to name just only a few. On console or systems I've played just about anything you can name even the entire Final-Fantasy and Legend of Zelda series.

:p I prefer Roleplaying games usually the most but I play just about anything, it's almost a tie between Strategy games and Roleplaying (RPG) games in fact. :3


:p I want to be able to share and play the game with my friends on the 360, whom dont have a good computer like mine available. Edit: (I know I can play this on PC with PS2 or 360 players...)

:eek: Shocking I know, but most of them are console bound and plan to get a PC nice enough for FFXIV ARR and other games beyond when FF14ARR comes out.

Anyway should the 360 copy come out;

My main real question is will it only have FFXI and the Seekers of Adoulin Expansion/DLC?

or

Instead will it have Seekers of Adoulin, FFXI and the rest of the content as well?


;) I just noticed that the acronym for A Realm Reborn aka A-R-R is ARR! like Arrg! or Arr! as in pirate speak! Lmao ...

All I wanted was to get what some of the players here think of the new Expasion/DLC SoA and what they think about the 360 copy? Will the FFXI+DLC be available in full in addtion to SoA? or In pieces? or vanish into obscurity?

Let me know cause this is just driving me nuts!

There is a Seekers addition of Final Fantasy XI coming out which will include all the content including Seekers of Adoulin.

There is also a separate expansion disk coming for which you will need to buy the rest of the content INCLUDING the base game.

With the quote taken in to consideration from the above poster, is there any actual news on the release? I called my local gamestop yesterday to try and reserve a 360 seekers collection disc. (Since I have to change from PS2) They told me it's not in their system, and they've yet to even hear that it was being released. I know the web site gives a release date, but it seems no one else has news of it yet. Any idea when we can expect it?

There is indeed supposed to be a 360 disc for the expansion, and for the complete collection.
