I recently reinstalled ffxi on my 360. 12 hour update.... Seriously. I have a 65mb service and can usually download a 5 gig in 15 mins.

I downloaded the playonline software from your site which is 55 mb, it took 20 mins.

maybe its time to stash the 56k modem?
