It happens when you have a trade offer lined up, then you talk to an Auction House counter. The stupid thing is that your queue for a trade immediately gets canceled when you do this, so why even have that prompt there if it's just going to remove my trade queue? Design choices like this just blow my mind.

It's called lag and processing delay. This is a game designed in the late 90s, it's bound to have a smaller threshold that you hit occasionally.
