Question about Seekers of Adoulin expansion

I carry my FFXI account on pc, ps3 and ps2. If I purchase S of A for my pc would I then be able to play it on my ps2? For whoever has a response to my dilemma Thanks

No. This is a full-fledged expansion (e. g. Wings of the Goddess) and not just an add-on (e. g. Abyssea), so actual physical install media will be required.

Unless you have the Japanese version of the game running on a Japanese PlayStation, you will not be able to play Seekers of Adoulin content on a PlayStation, full stop.

In other words.... once SoA comes out you wont be able to continue playing on PS2/3 for anything related to the expansion. PS2/3 play will be restricted to old content (and thus at that point you may as well fully convert to PC)

You can use a PS3 controller on PC (via bluetooth or USB) using programs like motionjoy which act as a driver for the controller. I know there used to be USB devices that were adaptors for PSX/PS2 controllers but idk if they are still around or not
