Can not finish Sandy Mission 2-3

Me and a friend both are on Sandy 2-3 I have completed all other nations to rank 10 she has not. We went to Bastok first and got the quest to collect Mythril Sand and return it to Savae E. Paleade. We have tried trading her the sand and nothing happens. We have changed jobs, changed zones, and logged out and back in and still unable to trade sand to complete mission. We both have 2 different computers and different settings yet are getting same glitch. Is there anything else we can do to finish this mission and continue onward?

Sounds to me you missed a step, rather than it being a glitch.. especially since you are doing it together and are both having the same issue... I would recomment retracing all the steps on wiki, and you will likely find an npc you forgot to talk to (i know i have missed 2x the one in metalworks when helping friends, its easy to do lol)
