Alrighty, so here is my sad little story...
Yesterday I, over excitedly, purchased and began downloading FFXI; something I've been waiting to do since it came out, but couldn't. So, not thinking, I hit download and close out of the page not thinking (big mistake, cause it had my game registry code). Not long after I check my email, and not thinking delete the email that would have also had the codes I needed to register my game when I transfered my play online account when I bought my subscription or whatever (still haven't figured how to subscribe yet), because I didn't read the subjects when I cleared my inbox of read emails I didn't need clogging it.
In other words.... I'm a moron...

If you got it through steam, you can right click the game and check your keys

I have heard people having trouble with the Steam version in regards to it downloading and installing, so I don't know.

If you haven't emptied your email's trash can yet you should be able to recover the emails you need. Most emails don't usually empty the trash can immediately so you may be able to salvage the keys still.
