I was with a buddy in Castle Zvahl Keep [S] and we ran into Raigegue R d'Oraguille with his name in green text. We tried talking to him and even trading a high kindred's crest (for kicks) but ultimately didn't get him to budge at all. We wondering if the devs or community team could shed any light on the nature of these green text Freelances.

The others [Eurytos, Boodlix, Kaiser Behemoth]

Are there quests we're supposed to be able to queue up regarding interaction with these "NPCs"? Is there, as Maruna-Kurina seems to imply, any way to recruit these majestic villains to be swayed to fight for us?

We would absolutely love to hear what the devs have to say about these NPCs.

I believe the "like for attention" rule applies here.

They show up during Campaign sometimes to fight alongside the beastmen, some like Eurytos are normal nm in the non-shadowrealm areas too.

If you want to fight or interact with the shadowrealm versions you need to do campaign.

This would enable the option for beastmen to recruit freelance anywhere else,no? Have you thought of that yet? No??
Beastmen like the goblins would be cool!

Though it would be "playing with fire" recruiting beastmen freelance, just think of the imbalance... I don't think facing Maat (or any other of our freelance)on the battlefield would be a joy if he was fighting for the Kindred.

It's just the same as denouncing you nation and joining the opposing side that wants to eat you....

Yeah I know they show up during campaign battles and yes, the prospect of fighting our own freelances does sound frightening, but neither of those things are the point.

My question is, what is the intention of placing the "NPC" version of these freelances in a zone. For example, does Raigegue R d'Oraguille (as the NPC that I encountered) actually serve a purpose other than to glare menacingly in the Keep? I'm not terribly concerned about recruiting the guy, but I want to know if I can do anything at all with him. Also, where would I find the other three?

Sorry for not being clear in the original post.
