I checked the new players section but there seems to be nothing there regarding how things have changed after the level cap increase past 75. Mostly lv 1-30 stuff. I left the game as soon as FFXIV launched and have been playing that game ever since ... but now that it's offline i'm looking to get back into this world that i loved so much for so many years.

I've got a Lv75 Ninja, a few jobs in around the 30's and 40's, and maybe a bit of gil .. a few hundred thousand maybe at most. I was never rich. I gather the entire old way of things ... (putting up invite flag and grinding EXP on Colibri) is long gone...

So erm, what should i need to know?
1) Going Lv75 to Lv99 what's the regular method?
2) Is mining ores still a decent way to earn gil? what should i be looking in to?
3) Any point in leveling my crafts? I haven't, but i want to.
4) Anything else? >.>

Thanks.

Thanks.1)Abyssea
2)No, just get BST to 99 and farm Dynamis solo, you can make more money there in less time than almost anywhere else.
3)Not really, only when you get around level 100~110 on your craft of choice will you come across anything of real worth.
4)There is a ton more that could be said, however its annoyingly long to explain, so instead, I will give you links to nearly everything relevant you need to know about for the 1st bit of you getting back into the game so that you can learn more as you go along.

Skill Up Food (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Skill_Up_Food)
Grounds of Valor (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Grounds_of_Valor)
Abyssea (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Abyssea)(Procing (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Category:Abyssea#Notorious_Monsters))
Voidwatch (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Voidwatch)(Procing (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Voidwatch_Weaknesses))

Thats about it off the top of my head that you need to know about starting back up.
