View Full Version : Let's rock the jukebox: Orchestrion features and songs from past FF titles

Currently, the only reason to use the orchestrion from a practical standpoint would be if you are spending a long time in your Mog House in your home nation. For short visits and for rent-a-rooms, the orchestrion is pointless and unusable respectively.

Therefore,
1. Song selection should be saved even after you exit the Mog House.
2. Selected songs should extend to all rent-a-rooms, and the curator should be available in rent-a-rooms as well.

The second change would not be a universe-imploding feature because:
Delivery boxes already transcend history and the world, a tale of returned auction items eternally retold. Delivery NPCs, Porter Moogles, player chat functions, and several other features also already ignore time (Shadowreign vs. present) and location for the sake of convenience and fun.

I would like this cool new feature to get more use.

Also, some music sheet requests:

Holiday Classics:
1. Jeuno Starlight
2. Sunbreeze Festival

Golden Oldies Vol. I:
1. FFI Battle (8-bit)
2. FFI Chaos/Sunken Shrine (8-bit) (This one's title has been mistranslated back and forth... the one I have in mind plays in the dungeon where Kraken lives)
3. FFI Matoya's Cave (8-bit)

Golden Oldies Vol. II:
1. FFII World Map (8-bit)
2. Princess's Seduction (8-bit)
3. Ancient Castle (8-bit)

And so on with the Golden Oldies. I suggested the 8-bit versions for memory purposes, but the FF Origins remastered songs would be even better.

In b4 some hilarious prankster replaces the song files with porn audio.

I might do that if I get around to it.
