Returning from 5+ year hiatus, Hello all :D

Hello, nice to see everyone still enjoying this game :D. I have started a new character to get my bearings again because last I played I had a 40s dragoon and 40s rdm and it's been so long I wouldn't even know where to begin.

I have made a new character on Bahamut as a WAR currently, and was wondering if anyone knew of any friendly LS's I could join that would help me out with questions (I don't want hand outs, so don't worry about that!) or just a helpful group of people that like to group together and chit chat, I intend on trying DRK this time around, but will eventually play them all I hope now that my life has settled down a little in my age. Also my fiance will be joining me in a couple of weeks once we get her new computer in, so any advice for 2 new(ish) players on leveling/questing/gil? Any response is greatly appreciated, thank you all for your time ;)

Don't know how you feel about jumping servers but Contact Grommet ingame (tell him I sent you) He has one of the best Linkshells (for newer people) and have all kinds of events. His LS web is

Sadly, it does not seem like this is an option as it says 90 days are required before I am able to transfer my character. Also it appears Character Transfers are not free on this game :(. Unless I can start over with the Destrier Beret on another server, I'll probably be staying on Bahamut for now. Thanks for the reply though, much appreciation :D

It is nice, but I wouldn't let it be what determined which server I was on. Remember that new players also start with free reraise earrings, reraise from manuals, and that they level past 30 relatively fast.

Nice enough not to jump servers or reroll to play with people you have never met, not sure you get along with or have the same play style as you.

Did not mean to start a debate and I appreciate the responses! Level 14 almost 15 after last night, there was a slight hiccup when our DSL went down for a day and we had to get a repair done. Really enjoying the game, it feels fresh and I love the Field of Valor stuff! Still looking for friends/friendly LS, drop a message here or message my character in game :D
