Returning player (my highest character was only level 40.. 2 years ago) so I am not too experienced in the late-game.

Regardless, I am on mission 2-3 for Bastok. Emissary has me now going to Giddeus to fight seeker and the Black Dragon. However, I need some party members to help! I currently have no linkshell.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me out with this quest. From what i've seen, the boss can be done with two people, but probably not with my low-level gear. The level sync is 25 for the battleground. Only people who are currently on this phase (Went to san'doria first and windurst second) or have completed the mission can pick up the battleground key. Please reply or send me a POL message and we can work out a time to team up and take these two down! I am currently in the heavenly tower in windurst.

Level caps are removed for all mission fights now. You won't need help with this unless you absolutely want to do it without leveling up a bit first.Even lv35rdm might be enough to beat that battle without help, if you play your cards right.

Ah alright.. but i'm in Windurst now thinking I could get help some anyone until I found out they would need the key as well. I really don't feel like making a trip to Jeuno to level up more or all the way back to valkurm dunes where I won't get skill-ups anyway. I want to finish it now since I went all the way to Windurst anyway, before I repatriate to Bastok and start the DRK quest.

and I doubt i'd be able to do it at lvl 35 alone. I am still using the lvl 7 Xiphos and spending all my gil on spells.

It's very doable at least as a Red Mage, and I think as a Monk at 25 solo. I did it only as a Red Mage myself, so I can't speak much for a Monk. I definitely didn't have the best equipment for the level either. Some medicine items is what you would want. ^^

It was actually very fun even though you are very limited on spells and abilities at that level!

Also, to help you out, one does not need any 'key'. Well, the key would be to be on the same mission themselves, or having completed it in the past.

Good luck, and have fun~

Found a 50 and 33 to help me with the mission. I almost wish the level cap was still in place so it could be done like it was meant to be done, but I guess getting walked through it is kind of a requirement when the larger community isn't doing this stuff anymore.

Or doing it yourself at the lowest level you're able to :p.
