View Full Version : Crafting Bag of sorts
It would be VERY nice to have some sort of "Crafting Bag" to place all the items you need to craft with at a given time. When I am crafting an item, it is really annoying to have to scroll through 85 things in my "Items". if you could make a slot/bag, we could put only the items that are needed to for a peticular item at that time eliminating the, "Let's find what i need in the 85 items I have".

I doubt it will happen, but i can agree it does get annoying. I always manually sort all my ingredient before i start synthing because i hate scrolling through inventory. (Or empty all my inventory which can be hard to do)

According to SE, it would take the same amount of work and memory to just make another bag that could hold any type of item. That would help both crafters and noncrafters alike.

Pretty much what Mirage said, making a bag only hold certain items is kinda hard, and they could just give us another Mog Sack/Satchel like bag (I could imagine one being buyable with Guild Points once you reach 70 in some craft).
On that note, if you have trouble with carrying ingredients for whatever craft, between asking for more stackable items and finding as many ways to have less space taken are pretty good ideas.
Crystal Clusters and Water Tanks are great ways to save inventory space, but I kinda wish there were more of these kind of items, for example, a stackable box of Windurstian Tea Leaves would be a miracle item to have for crafting, or having a Salt Pouch to hold stacks of stacks of Rock Salt, and a way to hold Poison, Blind, Venom, and other potions would be great for making large amounts of status bolts.
Of course, making more things stackable would be great too, like certain logs, skins, or bones being stackable would make things much easier for people farming, even if the AH didn't allow sale in such quantities.
SE would probably just reply that these things would affect the game economy though. I counter with this: does HELM has a life with unstackable Ores and Logs that barely fetch any gil? If it affects Guildshops, couldn't the inventory be increased? And do people farming Rams or Dhalmels without any Bonecraft or Leathercraft skill make all that money? Ram Skin and Crab Shells get NPC'd most of the time, because of limited AH slots that could be remedied with stackable versions of these things.
