Hi all,
just wanted to ask if there is a way to see what expantions and add-ons my account has? I bought the game off Steam and it should have everything included, but when I get to my login screen all the expantions are "transparent", it got me worried because in the videos I'v seen they are usually "highlighted".

I'm not entirely sure how it works, as it's been a while, but you may need to enter the codes on the SE account management website. If you go to your Steam library and right click on FFXI you can select "View CD key" and it will show you the relevant keys.

I think there was only one key... I'm at work atm so can't check, will do later. But if anyone wishes to do it, than thanks.

To check which codes are associate with your account, go to the SE account management page, hit select service, FFXI, then hit "Options List" and scroll down. It should give you the options you have and their registration dates.
If you got a trial account, then got the game installed through Steam, Steam may have installed in a different location, meaning that you will have to launch from the Steam copy to access your installed copy that has the expansions if this is the case.

Well on my SE account page it lists only "FINAL FANTASY XI - PlayStation(R)2/Windows(R)/Xbox360(R)" but I bought the key for FINAL FANTASY XI Ultimate Collection - Abyssea Edition

Did you buy the steam version and then log in with an existing account? The existing account won't automatically know that you bought the steam version and all that came with it. You need to go into SE account management and add the steam code to your existing account there to gain access to all expansions.
The feature you're looking for is in fact what the "transparent" expansion icons do. Transparent = you don't have them on your account. Opaque = you have them.

If you have the key written down somewhere accessible you could even do it right now from the SE account management website.

She could log in to steam from anywhere and find her keys there.

You can do that? I looked around on the steam website after logging in but didn't find the library or anyother place where I could get access to the game keys or something...
