I'm expecting a large amount of "weapon +3" trials for all weapon types for the Lv95 increase update, but I was thinking about Lv99 trials for the maximum power.
My idea was that we could have trials for each elemental trial staff (Agni's, Surya's, etc) that would have all of that element's affinity stats (macc, matk, avatar perpetuation cost, etc) that would all be on a single staff.
The catch would be we would have to have each version of the +3 of said staff, but by turning them all into the crate and completing the trial, it would give us a staff with simply "element affinity +6" or +5 if there are no plans to increase from that of course.
It would be worth the effort, for sure.

I'd like them to simply have both pet and master stats. A WAR doesn't even have to think about +attack or +pet attack, but a pet job must choose one of them, and it isn't really fair. And that issue has been around since the dawn of time. Focused jobs getting 100% efficient items, and hybrid jobs getting 50% efficient items.

I love this idea but lets go a step further and make prism weapons. Getting 1 staff after doing all 8 elemental staves would be freaking sweet. Also even combining 8 elemental axes for example would be akin to a relic like weapon that could be soloed.

and while we're on this subject of elestaves, can COR get some nice element affinity+ stuff? even if it's like daggers or something? old HQ staves are still better than any dagger for QD build...

This would be a very nice upgrade if not at 95 then maybe at 99 to be able to do trials that involve combining elemental based trial weapons. This would benefit many jobs not just magic users, as well as quiet at least a portion of the storage woes.

i dont see them doing any more with the margian trial weapons. +2 would be the logical cap. im sure there will be a new weapon set for the 90s, or new trials for lvl 90~99 weapons. where you pick up a lvl 90 weapon, and then start doing trials on that.

yeah but those are crafted items, not gear. and pretty much only for a handful of items. for the longest time, gear only went to +1. i just dont see them giving us +3 armor/weapons.

SE can do whatever they want.
the only +2 gear that existed pre abyssea is those conquest point weapons you can upgrade.
If i remember right

Plus they could just have the +2 weapon turn into a weapon with a different name and possibly model. I don't see them leaving everyone that's upgraded trial staves already hanging, there probably will be new upgrade systems come out in the future -they're already making additions to synergy- but I can see trials continuing for the foreseeable future.
I think most people want to see something done to consolidate items like elemental staves, obis etc. into 1 item, it's something that's being discussion multiple threads right now. How they do it; whether by shoving everything on Hvergelmir -I'm leaning towards them doing this though I hope they use another easier to obtain method, your average Joe-everyday mage needs storage space to!- or bring out some new beastly super staff or just require you to collect all the individual items & amalgamate them into one they should definitely do it!
SE saying they understand players storage problems & implementing all the new systems they have to alleviate this yet replacing 8 staves with 25 (counting only the MAB, MACC, -prep cost & cure potency staves which have similar effects to the original 8 elemental staves) sounds contradictory to me.
PS. I wouldn't be surprised if they just coped out & made a new set of craftable elemental staves at level 91 with stats similar to but stronger than the level 51 staves yet weaker than their trial staff counterparts.
