I am posting here to suggest that SE remove the Imperial ID Tag requirement for the old Nyzul Isle.

As it stands right now the only reason to do the old Nyzul Isle is for the weaponskills. Some of the gear is still useful but for the most part it has all been phased out by abyssea/voidwatch/and/or Neo Nyzul. All of the WS that you can obtain from the old Nyzul are still very useful for a lot of jobs, but right now it is virtually impossible to complete a full Nyzul climb in this day and time.

The problem I see is that the new Neo Nyzul Isle shares the same Imperial ID tags that the old Nyzul does. This means that it is extremely difficult to get help with old Nyzul since in order for someone to help they must burn their own Imperial ID tags that they would be using for Neo Nyzul.

I think that if old and new nyzul didnt share the same entry item that getting help for old nyzul would be a lot easier.

I fully agree with this. Old nyzul should either be on separate tags, or share tags with only the other old assaults and nothing else. They should definitely not be on the same tags as new Nyzul. All that does is making the catch-up process for new/returning players much more annoying than it needs to be.

Or we should be allowed to enter old nyzul/assaults without a limit on how often we can repeat it.

I'm sure their reasoning would have to do with tokens and the mythic quests, so an option to explore/progress Nyzul Isle without a token reward would probably be the best solution (But then they'd bring up Runic Key, probably).

So severely reduce token gain if you enter nyzul without using a tag, and gain tokens at a normal rate if you choose to spend a tag. The same could be applied to assaults. no tag, 1/10th the points, spend tag, normal point accumulation.

Maybe it's just me, but sometimes it feels like people are making problems out of things that don't need to be problems :p

You're not thinking it through completely. The problem is that getting assault clears and the runic key are also part of the mythic quest to begin with, which they could also cite as something they want to bottleneck, and there's really nothing you can say to argue against that.

The only thing I can see plausibly happening is for them to open a token-less nyzul entry so that you can farm weapons without using tags. Other than that, free assaults can obviouly be abused to finish your assault clears/mythic ledgers quickly, and free nyzul allowing progression allows you to get a runic key faster. Assaults with no point reward/clear flags would be totally pointless (well, except for Imperial Treasure Retrieval spam because that assault is actually fun).

Sure thing, but I don't really find it a problem that those bottlenecks disappeared.

So what if it became less of a complete chore to complete a weapon that in many cases is worse than a relic, empy or both?

pfft, what dev team do you think you're dealing with here

the development team does believe it's okay to have content that cannot be beat.

The uh... other dev team... that they have locked up in a dungeon somewhere. Maybe...

There's a much simpler way to deal with this... make it so you didn't have to do 16,000 ws points to unlock a mythic ws from floor 0! That would take forever, they should make it so that it's harder to get the weapon itself but boss floors have more chance of dropping it, but less drop % than before. But in turn drop the amount of ws's needed to 250 as standard, not when you hit floor 100. This would balance it all out but at the same time still keep it as a slight challenge. Also floor 100 could have a 25-50% chance of dropping rather than 100% chance - this way if you found the job you wanted the ws for who had floor 100 cleared and they offered to help, you would have more of a chance at getting the weapon while still keeping it a random drop and therefore a "challenge".
