Regain song?

Why is there no regain song/s for bard? Its the only support job without this ability, and until it's implemented bard is only a second class support job at best, making etudes single target is a nice first step, but we need regain to compete with sch and cor.

SCH will be obsolete as a buffer with the next update, and BRD is still as good as COR, situationally even better.

I think it is difficult to add because even a 1 tp/tic regain song should become 5tp/tic with 99 Gjallarhorn, then 7tp/tic with marcato or 10tp/tic with Soul Voice. Soul Voice is going to be on a 30mins-1hr recast timer. They would have to nerf how Gjallarhorn and Soul Voice affected it and that would just anger all the Gjallarhorn owners.

After what they said about embrava nerf, it seems like one of the new jobs will be getting regain as well.

Compete with COR? Not sure if trolling - - BRD is way better support than COR - -

BRD: Access to 4 buff slots, access to SV COR: 2 buff slots.

BRD: Has march, after embrava nerf march is going back to No.1 melee DD buff again. Also has 2~3 more song slot after march for attack song. COR: Only potent DD buff is chaos roll, regain is weak under haste capped situations unless you have lonnnng downtime.

Also ballad>evokers in terms of potency too.

Seriously? BRD with march crying about buff too weak and wants regain when regain isn't even that good? In terms of buff order: March(haste)> acc(if uncapped)>attack> DA> regain, regain shouldn't even be used on melees majority of time unless you're doing nyzul or something, or have more than 1 CORs. Even if BRD has regain, fat chances are you won't have enough song slots to sing it after embrava nerf.

"As good as COR" only happen when you have embrava haste capped and need chaos to cap attack. After embrava nerf I can't think of any situation BRD isn't better than COR for melee buffs.

There should be disparity between all support jobs rather than making them all homogenous in terms of buffs. That's why BRD gets Marches/Minuets and COR gets Tacticians/Blitzers/Misers and SCH gets storms/Embrava/Adoloquiem.
