GeForce 6200 {Do you have it?} {Help me out!}

Does anyone still have the Geforce 6200 PCI video card? What driver are you using?
The most current driver causes my computer to restart automatically whenever I approach an Outpost or Homepoint NPC out on the field. I downgraded to the 91.47 driver that SE so graciously reccomends as "working perfectly. That driver is laggy and has bad FPS compared to the most current driver. Does anyone know a more stable driver than 91.47.

My gaming addiction will thank you for the help :P

So I researched a little online and came across some forums that mentioned how great driver version 169.21 (WinXP). Decided to give it a whirl and saw that it did work and improved the speed of the game functions. Still not as great as the current driver but at least stable enough were it seems its not crashing the computer. Older drivers not found on Nvidias site can be found at:

I appreciate you doing the detective work beforehand. With a card like that you may need experiment with the settings ingame a bit before you will see the improvements that you're looking for. You will want to make sure that you have the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft as well as doing your Windows updates to make sure that you're on the same playing field that everyone else is on. After that please look into any other programs that could be running in the background on your computer which might be eating up system resources for the game. I might even suggest using the MSCONFIG tool to do a selective startup by disabling any other programs from running and rebooting your system. Lastly check out the community Wiki (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Graphics) for any minor graphics changes you can make to improve your performance.
