Now that Chocoblinkers have been nerfed VW has almost died on the server i'm on. Trying to get earlier tiers is almost impossible to get people on.
Basically i'm asking others from other servers are you having the same problem?
thanks

On everything non-T3 Jeuno/Zilart, yes.

The only VW shouts that I see get of the ground with regularity are those involving Zilart Tier 3 NMs. Kaggen/Pil/Akvan are hit-or-miss and I've joined some where after you get 10 or 11 people, responses just kind of fizzle out and the party either breaks or it takes a long time to fill. Most shouts that I see involving Jeuno Tier 4 and 5 usually sit at less six people or so four what seems like hours. VW shouts on the whole seem to be less common than before blinker nerf.
It's not a good situation for people who want to finish the content or get some of the rarer armors.

T3 Jeuno still fill up fairly fast, T3 Zilart are a little slower, followed by T6 Jeuno, then T2 Aht/Tav. People still want the money from plates, cinder, and dross, Zilart's pouches being as random as they are seems to be a bit of a turn off from them, same with Cinder/Dross & the rarity of the Cinder/Dross NM shouts themselves.

I know many people who used to do VW shouts purely for the cruor. Now they have no incentive.

... Plenty of people shout for VW. I have no clue what you are complaining about.
Also do you wait for someone to start a run or do you put one together yourself?

other then the obvious Qilin and select few no shouts are done. I have tried multiple times to put groups together and most fail due to lack of responces, i have tried shouting on weekends around 12pm and again around 4-5pm.

Actually, considering how many people I've seen say that they were just helping for the cruor, it kinda does

101% right!
the other side of the story would be "blame all the people for being lazy and stubborn or dont care about your wins" or something like this :D

Voidwatch shouts are still happening very often in Bahamut server. Most of the time. People still need those gears. Clearing some tiers may be a bit harder to gather group, but this is where you use all your gills from chocoblinker to buy weakening item. It's not that difficult. As always, if you are willing to lead, and stomach the shouting for 30-60 mnts gathering people and waiting around, nothing is impossible. Read up, and be knowledgeable, do your research, and know what to do/expected of you. It is worth it, trust me. Stop being a sheep, and use the internet to google information. So many people are lazy and just waiting to be spoon feed information and extremely under prepared and did not even do the neccessary cut scenes.

I should move to your server then, I've tried several times to make tier parties and after shouting for 1hr if i'm left with less then 1 party i call it quits. As for the chocoblinkers bit i didn't jump on that band wagon, was having too much fun with VW to spend time doing it and since i play summoner all the best gear is rare/ex anyways.

I usually like most of the things you post but you are absolutely wrong in this instance. Popular VW shouts fill up in 30-60 minutes (on Siren... your server may vary). VW shouts which have mobs which are not-so-popular take much, much, much longer. You can be one of the most well-informed, persistent, assertive leaders that ever walked Vanadiel's pixelated landscapes, but if other players don't think it's worth their time to help (because they believe they won't get anything out of it), none of that matters.
That's the point of this thread, not people failing to take the initiative to actually lead the runs. There are still shouts. The problem is these groups fail altogether or take far longer to get to the actual fight than in the past. It was only a couple of months when you had to be fast on the draw to get into a qilin/kaggen/akvan/pil shout. That's no longer the case whatsoever.

Yeah I have seen win runs take 6+ hours before... the sad thing is people are so desperate most people even stay in the party and wait the whole time too.

Shouts aren't any different on Bismarck from what I've seen.
I've still seen Morta, Ig-Alima, Qilin, Kaggen, Pil. And still see alot of tier shouts.

For everyone on here complaining that their server lacks them, should start them. Since it's apparently all people from the same server, you can all go and do VW together.
Bismarck isn't suffering in VW, VW participation has been the same since the nerf.

The cities VW and some of the not so popular ones do take longer you are correct, the people who are VW addicts are mostly done or focusing to the popular drops. The newer, casual, or returning players still a bit clueless on VW, don't really care about it, or still busy levelling jobs. But the good thing is you do not need 18 people for these anymore. Cities tier 1-3 can be done with 6-10 people, can bring brew for safety. Cities Tier 4 are still quite popular so you can easily fill spots. Jeuno tier 1 are fairly easy. Jeuno tier 2 can be brewed for some of the NMs should you have less than ideal numbers.
I do agree with you, it's harder to find people to participate when they see nothing in return. XP is dime a dozen, cruor has less value now. Though honestly I hardly meet a lot of people who are doing blinker gate on my LS. So cruor still holds value to the people I know, for empyrean brew and whatnot. Then again I am from the casual crowd, not the hardcore who plow through contents in mere days or weeks :P

For everyone on here complaining that their server lacks them, should start them.My problem is not so much with people not shouting, its rather that I noticed a drop in VW shout rates as well as fill speeds. What I mean is, I don't care that there are not 5 Qilin x18 parties a day anymore because I wanted to go oh so bad, I care that there is now only 2 of those a day because it means VW is becoming less popular. At the same time I don't like that the fill times slowed because it means I now get to sit in the VW parties I do wanna do, for twice as long or more just to find what is likely a trivial job anyways.

so if i was to by your logic of "I don't see means it doesn't exist" then since i've never seen you you must not exist on this server then.
Unless you sit in Jeuno 24/7 and catalog everyone's shouts (which is kinda creepy) your statement holds no support.

Well~ I keep an eye on shouts most of the time via another character or AH.com so admittedly its not impossible. I do it simply for watching out for those rare VW shouts I do need but hate to gather people for, like Aello.

Litteraly the only regular shout that's left in jeuno is the dumb ass RMT that's still charging the same price fleeching even through cruor is now worth half as much... oi.

you know there are these amazing things called "Time Zones" i know it may be abit much for you to understand but this concept allows everyone to have their own time zone where they clocks are set hours (sometimes 30mins) apart for each other so they all have a "high noon" if you will.
I've asked my LS crew and none of them heard of you, kinda odd. its like we play at opposite times, like some kind of time warp.... or maybe a TIME ZONE.

I am on Asura too, and shouts have slowed way down from what they used to be on this server. I have had a lot of friends complain about it too, especially since the nerf occurred. I don't have the time to sit in PJ watching shouts all day cause I am in a very active Linkshell and am always on the go but a lot of my members have complained about lack of shouts during non-event times. (our events are only 3 days a week, so plenty of time for them to watch them)
As far as making shouts my group does make shouts a lot during non-event times like today for Rex we shouted and did it 6x, and we shout for Ig etc whenever we are not doing events or other things. But other then random people shouting once in awhile there really isn't many shouts anymore. I know of people who watched shouts for hours and ended up afking cause they too bored on game cause of lack of shouts during free time. Everyone has different perspective on things, and this is just what me and my group has observed especially since the blinker nerf because no one really needs cruor or wants it now and gear drop rate still sucks for VW.

This is like the nightmare of pre-Abyssea era, where you shouts for hours trying to make your party, or seeking while afk and doing something else cuz your job is not the VIP ones. Funny enough, Voidwatch was created in response to player's demand for big LS events (and Legion + Neo Einherjar). There was a resurgence of big LS right after VW was introduced, when at 90 you DO need a big LS that do VW every week for 2-3 times (and for a brief moment, PLD was a must have). Then now we are back at stand still, the fact is the way most people play have changed - read: small groups, log in and play. I wish they let you use your crystal pertifact to purchase those pulse cells. This would really energize VW again since all the ones who do not need the armor anymore can use their crystal to buy pulse cell and sell it at AH. They can make it 1 cells = 200 crystal pertifact.
