Thread Title:
At risk of being hated for reporting this, I wanted to bring it to your attention that players can stop the countdown of their brew timer by examining chests or mortellos to allow them to brew several NMs with a single brew.

Platform: PC, but I believe it works with all.

ISP: TimeWarner

Type of Internet Connection: Cable

Internet Connection Speed: 26.23 MB/sec

Date & Time: I am not sure, since abyssea I think

Frequency: Always

Character Name: I have not done it, but I have seen it done several times.

Race: Not relevant

Main Job: Not relevant

Support Job: Not relevant

Area and Coordinates: All Abyssea areas.

Party or Solo: Both

Not specific to abyssea and not specific to brew. It's been in the game for years. No buff timers count down while associating with any NPC.

My point is it's been around for years, there's nothing wrong with it, and there's no need to change it.

Well if it is meant to be there then that is fine. It's for SE to decide if it is intended or not though. If they already have said it works as intended then "my bad".

actually some boosts wear off... I know BOOST does... I think a couple 2hrs do as well

Thank you for your post regarding this, Nvr. We are aware of this function and would like to clarify any concerns that you guys may have about this.

Locking the Primeval Brew countdown timer by examining chests (for example) is currently [03/18/2011] a known mechanic and by design.

However, this does not mean that adjustments will not be made in the future. We will be sure to keep the community updated at www.playonline.com / information section if any changes are made to this system.
