Armor Color

many jobs like BLU has some super ugly gear, i believe athos gear comes to mind first. and there is PUPs goofy looking orange suit, sure full sets of any of these match and look ok. but when the average player has multi pieces from many sets and mix n match.. gear looks awful. then i was remembering some things, and had a awesome idea... the old synergy furia pigment items etc, where gear had choice color's i believe? also for the most part that content is dead... i thought why not add some new drops to those old NMs new pigments and let us change the color of some of our rare/ex gear's so we can attempt to match them. not only would it keep players fighting and farming new items.. but it would revive some old content. just a thought for the future.

eh.. would be nice if it were practical with FF11's item system. It's not designed to store a custom color pallette for someone's items ( ie, take Aurore body and render it with a different color scheme so we're not forced to wear pink armor)--for each custom color, it is stored as a seperate item (ie, why the synergy pieces had limited color options and had specific names like Ebon and such--even though they were same stats).

To make this work they would have to dupe the items stats into new pieces and you'd be limited in color selection as with the ones currently available, or they'd need to revamp how items are stored/displayed in the system.

Synergy pieces did have different stats on the evolith slots. White was the strongest, with a mixture of light and dark of slots. Red was for light element augments, black for dark element augments. (Why red and white were switched, I do not know. Maybe they grew tired of all that red in the streets of Jeuno.)
