Hi I downloaded the win 7 compatible version of PoL but when I try installing FFXI it says it cannot install as PoL is not installed. I have run as administrator, turned off my anti-virus, tried updating PoL, re-downloading, uninstalling and reinstalling PoL and installed PoL from my install disc (it installs to the same file path as the win7 compatible version c/program files (x86)/playonline. FFXI will install but PoL won't launch). I am trying to install using the "autorun.exe" and "setup.exe" files from the disc marked FFXI disc 1 as instructed by the FF website. I have followed the instructions on the FFXI website for installing on win 7 implicitly but I still can't get FFXI to install on my new win 7 computer. What am I doing wrong?

Addendum: By the way your tech support form isn't working either.... Today I got a different form that worked.

The key things that you will want to do when installing from the disc would be:
Making sure that the game and the operating system are installed to the same drive.
Clearing the computer out of any pre-existing installations of the POL Viewer and FINAL FANTASY XI. To ensure this, you may want to run a registry cleaner like CC Cleaner so that when you run the program it doesn't find some previous installation and tries to install there instead.
The goal here is to get the setup.exe file to recognize your newly installed POL Viewer and setup along side it.
