Moving "mule" character to it's own separate account

So, a little back story. My brother and I started playing this game when it came out and each created our own character on a shared content ID. Now that we've both accomplished quite a bit on our own characters we were hoping there would be some way to have our two characters on separate accounts so we could both play at the same time.

Even if it requires me to buy the game again and re-obtain all of the registration codes, I'm willing to do it. Is there any way that Square Enix could do this? I know there are a lot of people who would take advantage of this option and it would only mean more profit for Square Enix. It's a win-win situation in my eyes.

That is, however, even less realistic than what the OP asked for. As long as you trusted the other players, you could effectively have one account for 20 entirely different players, while only paying the same as 2.5 accounts would cost.

My Father and I have a similar story, except we started at NA release, I ended up on a second account and he still has my RDM hostage after nearly a decade. Draw straws, you've got grinding to do. :3
