Dear SE:

Are there any foreseeable adjustments or reexamining of these two jobs? I see a lot of posts these days on how unimportant these jobs are in current content. Perhaps, there are other jobs that need looked at too so if I forgot anything please add to this. Thank you.

The solution for RDM is an easy one. MAKE the darn enfeebles matter on them. Seriously, if slow paralyze, Dia's blind gravity etc. stood out then players would be saying "WE NEED A RDM." In other versions of Final Fantasy RDM could do everything well. They can on this version but people want something to stand out before it gets recognized.

Even if enfeebling mattered, RDM wouldn't, thanks to the fact every enfeeble we have is also learned by another job with the exception of Gravity, they would bring a WHM & BLM before a RDM, because they can do other jobs as well as enfeeble, and do it better than RDM can.

Not so much do better but pretty much the same. There's just no unique point to the job.

I meant healing/nuking wise. We win in enfeebling but not by much, where as BLM has T5 spells & -ga/ja, and WHM has Cureskin & Cure5/6. So even if enfeebling was important, thanks to Immunobreak allowing for spells to land easier for all jobs, and RDM being less effective in the 2 fields that WHM & BLM cover while offering only 1 unique enfeeble, parties are much more likely to bring WHM & BLM rather than a RDM who is less effective overall. Or at least, this is how I see it, sorry if I missunderstood.

You're missing my point. Matter meant substantially better. Just because other jobs have them can't stop RDM from having better versions that really do something outstanding!

They aren't outstanding the last update made them better but also helped other jobs. All this did was create a curve that raised enfeebles for everyone.

I wonder if there might be a new roadmap for some fixes like this. I remember seeing some drk fixes in the last roadmap, h/w.

One thing that needs work for smn is the pet. While pacts are great or truly amazing at times... The autoattacks, and hp on the avatars is embarassing compared to most jugpets. The main saving-graces are pact damage and -damage taken, but even these arent as amazing as summoner has to choose between -damage or -perpet. Redmage, theres so many ways to go with it that i dont know where to go with it personally. But yes, summoner's pets need to hit the Gym and pop some roids.

solutions to make RDM THE enfeebler:
- make immunobreak RDM only
- add enfeebling magic bonus JT (more than half the tiers rdm>50) increase accuracy and potency.

other adition to increase RDM utility:
allow RDM specific buff to be cast on others/accesioned
remove PT target restriction on refreshII

Honestly I thought Immunobreak should have been RDM only from the start, and the Job Trait idea I thought should just be Magic Accuracy same as how BLM has Magic Attack for a trait.
