Having skilled up Woodwork Alchemy Cooking I decided to give leathercraft a go. I can see why it doesnt rank high on the crafters list of things to do.

1. Almost every craft has several venders, Cooking having millions (ok a few hundred) to chose from. Leather craft has 1 guild shop to buy some hides/skins. That means ever leather crafter has to get to the shop before everyone else or go farm.

2. skins/Hides rarely stack. This means you have to have lots of space to farm hides/skins before you can make leather at the guild

3. Action houses rarely see quanities of skins and hides because they dont stack. Selling 7 items on the ah means people just dont put skins on.

4. Lots and Lots of leathercraft armor are now redundant because no one gears low levels post 30 everyone uses abyssea. This means no incentive for gathering lots of hides and having lots of space.

Give leather crafters a chance to make the high level stuff by selling the hides on the ah to get high enough to make the gear you want.

SE make all the hides and skins stackable and get some of the venders to sell some if they have been traded to them.

5. There being only one merchant that sells Windurstian Tea leaves, from whichever nation has Sarutabaruta control under Conquest. It's an ingredient for converting many kinds of skins into leather. For the non-Windurstian leathercrafters without Sarutabaruta OP warp, it's a major pain to make a trip for any. There is the AH, but you are getting ripped off if they are selling for 1-2k a stack when they are only 18-22 gil a piece from a NPC.

Either give us alternative leaves that costs slightly more that sells in more places, or make Windurstian Tea leaves not exclusive to the Sarutabaruta region.

Nice katz. Most of the better the cooking supplies are in sandy. Cooking is obviously the craft where you run everywhere to find ingredients.

I agree with your post, I'd like all hides stackable.

These also need in standard shops.

Bat wings
Bee chips
Bone chips
Lizard skin

The more items they put on NPCs the more gil is taken out of the economy.
