Some form of indication for Mining/Logging points

Is it asking too much to have a little light/sparkle indicating these gathering points? I'm someone who really enjoys a non combat play style, but running around in the forest spamming the tab key hoping to find a node just isn't that much fun.

If I could see a sparkle in the distance I would know where my next point was and it would eliminate wandering around hoping I don't miss one. Thoughts?

I mark my map, and developed a hedgehog sense of running the same paths, to the point that its bad luck to pass on the right side of bushes in grauberg. Silly I know, but I get good harvests of the left passes of bushes prior to reaping.... Hehehe.

Harvesting points are generally clustered together, so you don't tab around until you get to a cluster. Also, not all points are in visible locations. Some can be at the hidden end of a tree or rock.
