We are currently experiencing technical difficulties wherein players are unable to log into FINAL FANTASY XI.

The issue is being addressed, and new updates will follow as additional information becomes available.

During the following time period, players may have experienced technical difficulties with FINAL FANTASY XI. We are pleased to announce that the issue has been addressed.

We began investigating the issue when it first occurred on September 24th, 2012 around 15:16 (GMT) and discovered a problem with the version updater. As a result players were unable to perform a version update or access the game between 15:50 and 16:30 (GMT). The issue has been resolved through maintenance performed at 16:30 (GMT).

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
