So I log-in on my PS2 and was messing around, when i clicked on the chocobo renter NPC in bastok mines and... she replied, i was shocked.. no freeze? Tried again on each npc and they now all seem to answer. I thought it was strange so i decided to test all the other npcs that freeze up PS2, and they all now work, even the sandy warp guy...
Is it me or did Sqaure fix the PS2 and not tell anyone?
