Entries are limited to one per person. In the case multiple entries are submitted, only the first one will be accepted.
You can submit up to five screenshots in your entry. Make sure to have /names on in the first screenshot and that your character and Mog House is clearly shown. Please use the “[HB]” tags to hide your second image and on images.
Once you have submitted your entry, you will be unable to edit your post.


During the judgment period, there may instances that we log in to check your Mog Houses layout. Therefore, we ask that you not change the layout of the Mog House once you have submitted and maintain it until the winners are announced.

Mog and I met in the Summer many years ago. The Mannequins are geared to remind of us the many years we have spent together. When I am not out running about saving the world with my friends from Soymilk, I am just chillin' with Mog. Summer time is one of my favorite seasons in many ways. Cooking out with friends or taking a small fishing vacation on the ship bound for Muhara are my some of my favorites to name a few. One thing stands out as my favorite though and that would be relaxing in my mog house while reflecting on the past. Welcome! If it doesn't shine he (Mr. Moogle) probably doesn't like it! We've been together from the start and collecting "GLOWYS" has always been our favourite adventure. He still won't let up over not having the Glowy white piano. I too can't believe it myself... I promised him it for his Birthday and everything... (I feel bad, honest i do). I try to bring home a new glowy every week. In return all i recieve is a darn Giant Femur that he cooked using our kitchen.. Useless!! Mr. Moogle is supposed to create space - not use it!!

A response to my contest entry and why the pictures aren't working.

After spending quite a bit of time on trying to post my mog house pictures and talking to a few varies people we have come to a conclusion on what the problem is and that I am just unable to post these pictures on the fact of two problems. First of all under "Attachments" when clicking "Insert Inline (1)" button I was deleting them afterwords so they weren't really getting attached, this is entirely my fault. However the 2nd problem that I encountered was limiting 298.8 kb, I had pictures attached there from other posts, and no matter how hard I had tried I was unable to delete them, thus my space was almost full keeping me from posting the 5 pictures I wanted for the mog house contest.

In conclusion, I have no choice but to withdraw my entire, not by my choice but by the fact that I just can't attach pictures into my file manager since there is no room for them, and I am unable to delete the old ones.

After a long day of Adventuring, everyone needs a place to relax. My choice is my humble abode, the Adventurer's Loft. Starting from the left, being part of the fishing guild has its perks. This is where I take my fish and materials and sometimes cook them in my Galley Kitchen. My moogle has been practicing and has learn to cook a couple meals too! My 9 Drawer dresser and mannequin is where I keep my equipment and job change. Lastly, on the right side is where I do my crafting and fill out orders for people needing leathercraft items. In the summer we always have nice beverages on the table and of course the Windurst Magical Fountain filled with ice cold water.

My "Do it Youself" Mog

Not only do I take pride in my mog, I take pride in making all my own furniture. I have +90 Woodworking and 80 synergy and most other crafting subs to 60. The only items in my mog that I did not make are a few of the R/EX items from quests. I have so many other furnishings on NPC storage that will not even fit. I have 13 lvl 99 jobs and gears and r/ex stuff but I still keep my mog in top shape for visitors.

A few of my favorites include the Mog Bonanza statues that I have collected which I placed together to make a FFXI Chess Set. The Royal Bed took me 5 years to get my crafting high enough with required subs. It is signed. The woodstall was a relief to make after a week of synergy skilling. I adore my Chocobo stature.

I often make signed furniture and give away to friends. :)

In the hot summer months, there's no better way to cool off than to go to the beach. But the life of an adventurer is fraught with danger and constant activity, so we can't always visit those places we like the most. Sometimes, you have to bring those memories of cool breezes and salty water home. It doesn't take much to jump-start a memory: the blue water of the sea and the fish that swim in it, the white sand of Siren Sands and the crabs that scuttle at the shoreline, and the shady palm trees and vivid flowering plants that cluster by the rocky outcrops that encircle the dunes. You might not get to visit the beach, but if you're at home and you take a moment to relax and close your eyes, then maybe you'll feel like you really are there.

Waking up in my Mog house at 6 am and seeing my Moogle Dance!

Introduction Text:
So the year was 2004, mog and I had started decorating our house together. Many years have passed since then and now mog is fairly certain that our home looks quite festive! Mog tends to complain that I never clean up, dust around, pick up the leaves that I track into our home after a long days battles. Mog does not realize how much work I do, its hard going out and rolling my cards getting 11's for my friends and shooting down bad guys with my pew pew gun.

We have a great relationship, mog takes care of my plants (but secretly I think mog forgot to water them because I never clean up anymore) and mog is always quite cheerful every morning when I wake up. Mog says that the coolest part of our house is that at night he always feels a warm glow from all our festive decorations.

Beating the summer heat

This time of year Vana'diel is at it's greatest. All the festivals, the fireworks, and the general good times vibe. Although, at times, I prefer to kick it in my Mog House with the Blizzard setting cranked up to V, and if you're gonna hang out inside, it may as well look nice. Even the mannequins are trying to keep cool in the heat (they keep bugging me for a pool party).

Bastokans know it can be hard to stay cool – since we always have a fire going, even during summer! Fortunately, some of us adventurers have been lucky enough to pick up helpful items to bring the temperature down. Personally, I like to block the fire with my Snowmen, and I have my Moogle use the Silberkranz and Couronne des etoiles to deposit snowflakes around the house. It also helps to have a case of chilled buffalo milk handy. Regardless of success or failure, synthesizing with water crystals is always refreshing! And if all else fails, wearing a cap full of snow is a sure way to beat the heat!

Hello, and welcome to my moghouse on Ragnarok. I wanted to create something that would bring my favorite place (the jungle) indoors and that would also show a hint of the hunters' aura. Complete with a hammock, stockfish and display blades, there is a collection of my pets which I have gathered from the hot jungles of Yuhtunga and Yhoater. The sound of chirping crickets I can't get enough of- while glowing fireflies, Totem poles, Elshimo palms and pachira remind me of the hot summer days and evenings - all year 'round.

It gets hot in Windurst, and whether I've been out fishing or rolling dice as a corsair on some high-stakes adventures, I enjoy relaxing in my Mog House. I like water and plants in my home to keep it cooler, so I converted my fisherman's stall into an aquarium. You can also see me gazing into my Celestial Globe while listening to the crickets in their cage. This also helps me write out my battle strategies (which I keep on the floor) and sometimes you may catch me at a moment of inspiration. But more likely, the break from the heat will be so relaxing that you'll just find me dozing off, dreaming of making it rich on the high seas...

It's hot. The annoying Tarutaru on the weather linkshell keeps blabbering on about hot air masses from Kolshushu moving in and for some reason hearing him talk about how the heat wave has made it more difficult for mages to cast effective water-elemental magic just makes it seem ten times hotter. The Star Sibyl has enacted a mandate for enhanced water conservation efforts because the Federation's water transmogrification facilities just can't keep up. You arrive home. It feels like walking into Ifrit's Cauldron. With the Star Sibyl's mandate, the residential authority has shut down all magical air-condtioning units to conserve precious water and your Mithran roommate with questionable fashion sense is cooking Green Curry again. The heat from the stove is absolutely stifling. Come to think of it, you're not even sure where she sleeps. She doesn't have a bed of her own and she doesn't share yours. To be perfectly honest, you're not sure when you last saw her move ...

Your spinet begins to play a familiar tune. You know you've heard it before, but you can't quite put a finger on it. It's always somewhat bothered you that it plays music - polyphonic music at that - on its own accord, but not as much as wondering how your roommate manages to cook so much curry without moving has unsettled you. You decide to change outfits. As you do so, your resident moogle decides to start spinning incessantly. You hate it when he does that. Every time you change clothes - spin, spin, spin, spin, spin, spin. You think to yourself, "What if he throws up on my fully upgraded Empyrean Armor?" and you decide that just in case this might happen you'll leave it with the much calmer moogle in Port Windurst who offered you a storage service next time.

For some reason this line of thought reminds you that your fish need feeding. You rummage through your cupboards and realize that you're completely out of magical fish food. It's far too hot to walk to the Fisherman's Guild to get fish food and you start to contemplate whether or not fish will eat crickets or glowflies. You decide that you like having the crickets around and you don't want to run the risk of having glowing fish, so the fish will just have to wait until tomorrow. You sit down and have dinner, after which you work on cataloging your shell collection, and then you drag yourself to bed. It's too hot to sleep but you turn off your flouro-flora and lie there restlessly. At least the incense from the burner you got on your vacation to the Near East is somewhat relaxing.

Your roommate still hasn't moved and that moogle is still spinning. Ugh.
