like the title says.
at level 75 a rdm had to wear little + dark skill gear to reach 211 for 8 tick bio 3. at that time there was no way to wear enough + skill gear to reach 9 a tick until /sch came along.
since were now level 99, a rdm can now have 10 tick bio 3 just by having their dark skill capped at 300 without the need for wearing gear or /sch sub.

so if i wear all the + dark skill gear i can and sub /sch to boost a rdm dark skill higher what would be the numbers of skill vs tick beyond 300+ skill? even if i wear +2 relic to increase bio 3's duration?

List isn't 100% complete because I'm not pulling augmented gear for this.
If you're a Red Mage going all out for maximum Bio III DPS, including subbing Scholar and meriting Dark Magic skill, but not sacrificing something like a Suppanomimi or getting gear that only works in very specific conditions, you'll have something like 466 Dark Magic skill, which would equate to something like 19 damage per tic (under super optimal situations where you do hurt other job options and clutter your inventory with crazy stuff, and inside a Campagin Battle, you'll get something like 506 Dark Magic skill and 20 damage per tic, woo). The minimum you'd need to do 19 damage per tic is 454 skill, which you can't get outside of latents or merits.
Really, if you want to be doing the most damage with DoT spells, main Scholar and cast a Helix spell.
Feel free to macro in Dark Magic skill gear, but don't clutter your inventory with anything you wouldn't have already, such as for a Drain/Aspir set.

Is the option too of subbing blm and stacking multiple DOTs, or, dunno how well but i cant imagine well, but when /sch, land a helix anyway. Cant be a bad option.
