[Info] Regarding installing the test server with a Steam install of FFXI

I feel it is worth noting (and wish that the "FINAL FANTASY XI Test Client Installation Guide (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/25708-FINAL-FANTASY-XI-Test-Client-Installation-Guide)" thread mentioned this) that if you play FFXI using a Steam install, the installation folder is
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\ffxi\
instead of
C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\
if you are using a 32-bit system.


Okipuit, could you please alter Step 3 in the aforementioned thread to include this information? I'd very much appreciate it.

I did that but its not working, i don't have a test server button.

I installed it into this directory:

G:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ffxi\SquareEnix

In there i have:

\FINAL FANTASY XI
\FINAL FANTASY XI Test Client
\PlayOnlineViewer
\TetraMaster


Any help appreciated.
