difficulity getting attestation of Celerity

Just wondered if anyone had advise here on how to get the above attestation.

I went to dynamis buc tonight with a friend and we started killing the hydra, specifically whm, blm and bard type after an hour of killing not one sadist's fortune had dropped.

Now i only killed 2 time mobs on the way there as i dident think they would have any effect.
Did i miss something or was it just bad luck

The hydra i killed were down at the tower near the zone to batillica downs

Bad luck, although not worse than you could expect. It just has a low drop rate, about 8%, so you'll need to kill about 12~13 on average for one. Sometimes it can be worse than that. Just don't expect it to be too easy/quick.

And remember that the attestation itself is also only about a 30% drop rate. If you're lucky you'll finish this in one run, if not be prepared to do two or three.

Good question. I didn't even think they affected +2 items, but I'm as clueless about Dynamis as it gets.

I only recently started doing dynamis (quit doing it before they added procs etc.). From what I've read, procs affect all drops, but in my experience just messing around, it seems like gear drops are the same no matter how many time extensions I have, while currency / forgotten stuff drop rates are absolutely crap without all 5 time extensions.

I was just curious if anyone had actually tested gear drop rates, because I don't feel like delving into 7,000 pages of BG stuff.

From what I've seen, procs only affect currency. Level of mobs (DC or EP) and TH seems to be the only thing that affects forgottens (DC drops more) and TH alone affects gear and craft items.

just an update on this got attestation this evening, not sure if there anything in to this but killed him 4 times and he dropped dagger attestation once, and that occasion i was off handing dynamis dagger just to see if it helped.
